Large Bore Hollow Shaft Encoder
This encoder needed to have a large enough bore (127mm) to fit comfortably over a rolling element in a high accuracy manufacturing process. The encoder eliminates belt slippage , geartrain backlash problems etc. and the direct coupling achieves improved repeatability. A heavy duty variant with large vibration capacity and high reliability electronics is now available.
The 50HS Series TDEA1052 encoder is a 1200PPR Incremental encoder originally designed to slide over a high precision large diameter rolling element. The encoder body is fixed to the machine frame via integral bracketry with inbuilt flexible mountings.
The basic design lends itself to being scaled to accommodate larger or smaller bore sizes with minimum tooling charges - the 30HS , 40HS , 50HS , 60HS and 70HS Series.
The 50HS Series can be supplied in the following formats :
Counts : 10 to 5000PPR
2 Channel Quadrature output ,
¼ and ½ cycle marker options ,
complementary outputs available all signals.
CMOS line drivers type 8830 , 88C30 , 26LS31.
Input Voltage 5V , 12V , 5V to 15V at 100mA maximum.
The encoder comes as standard with a 127mm bore ,
an 180mm long anti-rotation bracket and
connector type Cannon MS3102E-16S-1P.
Alternative bore sizes , bracket types and electrical interfaces are available.
