Encoders - Incremental

Solid Shaft

15HI Series

Typical Specs:
Electrical
Mechanical

This is a compact yet rugged size 15 Incremental Encoder. It is constructed with a stainless steel body and shaft, sealed to IP67. It has a wide temperature range and high shock and vibration characteristics. Resolutions up to 2500 counts, 2 channel square wave outputs and marker pulse are available.
It is suitable for both Industrial and Defence applications and is used on Fire Control Systems for armoured vehicles.

24R Series

Typical Specs:
Electrical
Mechanical

The 24R is a medium resolution Incremental Encoder offering a range of counts up to 250 per revolution with 2 channel square wave outputs as standard. The encoder has an anodised aluminium body and is sealed to IP 65.

+5V and + 12V options are available, with a version which is suitable for use with a pulsed power supply if energy efficiency is critical.

Current applications include flood warning, water management, speed and direction sensing.

24SQ Series

Typical Specs:
Electrical
Mechanical

The 24SQ is an extremely rugged Incremental Encoder which because of its solid stainless steel construction has proved invaluable in heavy duty industrial, Naval and Defence applications. It has high shock and vibration characteristics with a wide temperature range and is sealed to IP67. There is a wide range of counts up to 5000 per revolution with line driver outputs and marker pulse option. Input voltages range from +5V to +15V.

This unit is widely used in industrial applications for speed and measurement control, robotic positioning, naval sonar and helicopter handling systems.

28HI Series

Typical Specs:
Electrical
Mechanical

The 28HI is a high resolution Heavy Duty Incremental Encoder with a flanged stainless steel front plate and a robust anodised aluminium body, sealed to IP67. It is available in a variety of counts up to 9000 per rev.

Applications include robotic handling and the newsprint industry.

30HI Series

Typical Specs:
Electrical
Mechanical

The 30HI is a Heavy Duty Incremental Encoder manufactured from Marine Quality stainless steel. It has been successfully used in a number of demanding Naval applications where its corrosion resistance and labyrinth sealing configuration have enabled it to outperform its rivals.

It is available in a variety of counts up to 9000 per rev. The standard output is 2 channel quadrature.

35HI Series

Typical Specs:
Electrical
Mechanical

The 35HI is a rugged Incremental Encoder offering high shock and vibration characteristics, a stainless steel body sealed to IP 67 and an operating temperature range of -40 to +70 deg. C. It is available with up to 9000 counts per revolution with 2 channel quadrature output and optional marker. One significant feature is an integral conduit gland which allows supply and output signal lines to be totally enclosed for 'open deck' scenarios.

Typical applications include Naval Helicopter handling systems.
